Not Moving Land of Nothing

(“Land Of Nothing”, the unreleased record of Not Moving, that should have been out in 1984, but for production problems it has never been published before!!)It’s out now “Land Of Nothing”, the unreleased record of Not Moving, that should have been out in 1984, but for production problems it has never been published before.

The sound of Not Moving blends the white R’n’r of X with the wild blues of Gun Club. ”A Wonderful Night to Die” seems writed by Jeffrey Lee Pierce, the toll of the bass and the reverberant distorsion of the guitar in “In the Batland”, the dark R’n’r of “You’re Gone Away” , are a tribute to Gun Club of “Miami” and “Las Vegas Story” ; the cover of “Pipeline” is the surf revival ten years before Man Or Astroman, Phantom Surfers, Ups and Cosmonauti, but all the six songs in “ Land Of Nothing” , despite they are twenty years old, play today strong and ( trite but true ) very up-to-date . (from notes by Luca Frazzi)
