by Sonics,Oblivians and Crime!!)The Cleopatras are a FEMALE 60’s garage-punk band from Tuscany, born in the 1998. They played all around Italy and have participated to many festivals like Festival Beat (Piacenza), BusOne (Piacenza), Festival Surf (Teramo), etc…The Cleopatras recorded two 45″; “The Cleopatras” (2000) and “Let’s run with…” (2001). After a ‘meditation’ break, The Cleopatras are coming back with a new line-up!
And here’s a great new album, still influenced by Garage/Surf as in the beginning, but now mixed with a great Punk Rock sound can remind us bands like Crime, Avengers and early Nuns!
