The Pork Dukes – Pop Stars / Save the Pigs

(Binliner Records are proud to announce this extremely limited edition single by one of the most shocking Punk Bands … ever!

The Pork Dukes spewed onto the Punk scene in that hot summer of 1977 with the now legendary single “Bend and Flush” and from then on their name became synonymous with utter filth … and catchy as hell tunes! The band became cult legends on the Punk scene, giving us such classic releases as the “Making Bacon” 12 inch and “Telephone Masturbator” single.
John Peel was a huge fan of the band, once stating that the Pork Dukes would have UK chart hits with their infuriatingly catchy singles, were they not so manifestly unbroadcastable.
The band have never really gone away, they’ve been on the scene since 1977 and continue to play to sold out crowds. Now they give us their first new recording in around 15 years, “Pop Stars”, a vitriolic sideswipe at today’s manufactured boy and girl bands that continually infest our charts. Even the queen of white trash, Britney Spears, doesn’t escape from the mauling these guys are dishing out. On the B-side we give you a storming live version of the no less controversial “Save The Pigs … Burn the F***ing Farmers”.
This is an extremely limited edition of only 500 copies and is released on gorgeous special colour vinyl that has to be seen to be believed, so get your orders in quick!)
