Finally we have reissued this sought after album of an Italian HC-Punk band from the late 90s, Angeli, thisis their second sold out from 2 years!
——–Liner Notes—————-
We are really proud of this new chapter of Area Pirata:
The record you’re holding in your hands is the reissue, for the first time on vinyl, of the second official work of Angeli: “Voglio Di Più”!!!
The band from Turin has its roots in the Italian HC.
Roberto Tax Farano (ex 5° Braccio,Negazione, Declino, Mgz, Fluxus) guitar and vocals,
Massimino Ferrusi (ex Stinky Rats, Indigesti, Negazione, Persiana Jones) drums,
Marco Conti (ex Esterno Uovo) bass.
Angeli were born in 1996 when Roberto Tax Farano and Massimino Ferrusi decided to return to their origins, after a few years spent experimenting with new musical situations from Fluxus to Persian Jones, from soundtracks to Mgz.
With Luca Marzello on bass and Tax on vocals, a few months later they recorded their first self-titled album, which in 15 tracks sums up the anger that remained inside those years.
The hardcore of the three takes on some melodic nuances but the power and impact remain the most important thing!
After several gigs aroun Italy in 1998 (and the arrival of Marco Conti on bass) they decided to return to the Black Box studio in France. There with the help of their friend and producer Iain Burgess they gave life to “Voglio di Più” which will be released in January 1999 by Freeland Records: we are talking about 11 tracks of anger, dissatisfaction, adrenaline!
Stabbing guitars that enhance the lyrics no longer in english but in italian.
Twenty years later the album maintains its characteristics; a powerful and exciting record, one of the most lucid and straightforward records of that period.
So it seemed right to rediscover it, enriching it with a gatefold cover and a digital coupon, of the 500 copies printed, 200 will be in a splatter red vinyl.
