Carlo Masu e Le Ossa
It takes shape as a trio at the end of September 2019 to bring order to the ‘sound notes’ that Carlo Masu has accumulated over time and to give a soundscape to his bare, skeletal songs.
In 2020, the bass also enters the band’s instrumentation. A handful of rehearsals over a couple of months to finish arranging the record and then, the world petrifies.
In June 2020, they manage to pick up the threads of the interrupted discourse. The band enters the studio to record their first album with Bruno Germano (Iosonouncane, Arto, Settlefish, Fuzz Orchestra, Daniela Pes, etc.).
On 26 November 2021, their first record entitled:
OMBRE DI UN CORPO ESTRANEO
The record is an inner landscape; where nerves, blood, sweat and bile are translated into sounds that can be defined as Existential Blues.
The theme is well described by Oscar Wilde’s phrase: Each Man Kills The Things He Loves.
The tone is restless, like standing in the middle of the ford of the night in the grip of the nightmare of being awake.
The language is dry and essential, figurative but deformed, humanly true.
