Modern Love – Ensomhet Vet

Following “Tross alt” LP on Refuse/Stonehenge, MODERN LOVE is back with four more love songs for the punks. The Oslo band continues to craft catchy melodies in the tradition of non-traditional music, always with a raw nerve and a palpable desperation. «Ensomhet vet», whose cover artwork is drawn by the Danish artist Asbjørn Skou, means «Loneliness knows». Some of the lyrics on this EP were written in a mental hospital and are all intensely personal. Laying bare what’s deep within, although with a frail hope to reach out; to connect, to console and to conspire.Released in 2019.
