Not Moving LTD Not Moving LTD

(We are truly honoured and pleased to introduce the "debut" of the NOT MOVING L.T.D.
The group was born from a meeting of three friends, three friends who for many years inflamed the stages all over Europe and were heroes of the Italian neo-garage scene and not only.
But if you are a rock’n’roll junkie the project takes shape and the three do not settle for more than a sporadic date.

NOT MOVING LTD officially becomes a new band, composed of three historical members of Not Moving, Rita Lilith Oberti on vocals, Dome La Muerte on guitar and Antonio Bacciocchi on drums.
To give them a hand, Iride Volpi is added on guitar.

What follows is inevitable, the urgency to write new pieces is strong, and so they are catapulted to the Appaloosa studio to record this single:
Lady Wine is a magnificent novel that makes us become enticed by what will happen, on the B side two classics of the back catalogue by Not Moving: Spider and Suicide Temple, rearranged for the event. The appointment is under the stages all over Italy to enjoy the adrenaline sets we have been accustomed to !!!)We are truly honoured and pleased to introduce the "debut" of the NOT MOVING L.T.D.

Gerry Ranson – Vive Le Rock! (zine/web) – 08/01/2020

One of the most iconic of Italian punk bands, NOT MOVING have been born again in a new band with a brand new EP.

Originally formed in the northern town of Piacenza in 1981, Not Moving were one of Italy’s most successful homegrown punk bands. Drawing influence from the gothic punk and rock’n’roll of X, The Gun Club and The Cramps, the band released three albums and toured with the likes of The Clash, Johnny Thunders and The Celibate Rifles before disintegrating amid addiction and acrimony during the 90s.

A brief reunion in the mid-Noughties saw them return to the stage for dates with The Damned and The Stooges, while reissues of their original albums quickly sold out.

Now longtime members Rita Lilith Oberti (vocals), Dome La Muerte (guitar) and Tony Bacciocchi (drums) are back together as NOT MOVING LTD, joined by Iride Volpi in a Cramps-style two guitars/no bass line-up.

The first fruit of the configuration is a three track vinyl and download EP featuring the tracks ‘Lady Wine’, ‘Spider’ and ‘Suicide Temple’

Andy / Fear & Loathing – January-June/2020

Three songs from this Italian combo, formed when friends from various garage-punk bands decided to form a new project together. It’s kept basic in all the right ways, with primal rhythms, a raw sound and suitable sinister vocals from Rita Lilith Oberti. You can reference The Cramps maybe, perhaps a hint of the Fuzztones and maybe even The Sonics. Any one of the three songs – ‘Lady Wine’, ‘Spider’ and ‘Suicide Temple’- is strong enough to be an A-side, so be sure to hear all of them

Peter Marinus – Bluestown Music 05/03/2020
