(Their comeback album from 1989 and, according to most, their best one. Probably titled after the band’s number one enemy’s most recent album, Michelle Shocked’s “Texas Campfire Tapes” (their controversy over the “Short, Sharp Shocked” album had just ended when this album came out) and originally self-released on their own SLAP UP records label, after a three years long semi-retirement (the band unexplicably disappeared from the music scene right after their 1986 “Radioactive Earslaughter” split LP with Extreme Noise Terror). This is also the last album with Mower on vocals, and the first to move towards a more “classic” UK punk approach compared to their noisy, early 80’s releases, resulting in these 14 tracks of quintessential Brit-punk!)
