(The first track, “Chrome Molly”, caught me a bit off guard with a very obvious rip off from the riff of 13th Floor Elevators’ “Two Headed Dog”. Grand theft Roky! Well, I forgive this Virginia 4-piece cuz “Riding The High Horse” is such a sleazy knuckle sandwich of amped up snotty punkrock’n’roll. The line-up also includes “Demon Boy” Don Cilurso of Texas Terri & The Stiff Ones, so you know the outfit has got the chops to burn everything in sight, baby! Fans of unsung 90s heroes like Inhalants, Bottomfeeders, and Fumes should check out The Deviltones.
